So I sort of fail...

As I got all of my clothing out for a 30 for 30, took pictures, etc... I can not figure out what to WEAR. It is supposed to be easier, right??

Well it would be if it was a bit warmer and if I wasn't in the middle of a huge snow storm. So, I'll get some pictures posted soon. Like, this weekend. I swear.. (No, really..) But I don't know how I'll be able to stick to the 30 for 30. My wardrobe is not conducive to the cold, which is sad because I have lived in the same place for 22 yrs and the winters are awful.

I will also warn you I do have some faux-Uggs. Now, I only wear these on the awful days because I got teased for my man-boots. This campus is NOT friendly to nicely adorn feet (I almost face-planted TWICE today on my way to class...). So I'll give it a shot. I don't promise much. Oh and yesterday I stayed in jama's all day... Yea, snow day, I showed you.

In desperate need of new/basic clothes, however, I think I am going to suck it up and not let that discourage me from looking somewhat decent when I go to class (e.g. not going to class in a hoodie and sweatpants). Doing this as a college kid who doesn't have class Friday or Monday is going to be a bit difficult, as I have no need to dress "cute".

Purged the closet

Removed all the clothing that I do not wear (either it is out of style, doesn't fit, or I just don't like it) and will be soon making a list of things that my closet does need (umm... better fitting white and black tees, a new pair of black heels, black dress pants, and more cardigans). Once that is completed I will try a 30 for 30, which I think is an incredibly AMAZING idea, especially for my new-ness to the fashionable world and my lack of funds to be frivolous in the clothing department. Soon I will start taking pictures at my attempts of outfits, hopefully finding some good "looks" for me.

I LOVE looking at what others do. Such an inspiration. :)

FINALLY....

My computer crashed recently after I started this blog, so any attempts to work on this and do what I want with it got put on hold. HOWEVER I have a computer now and I will be planning for my 30 for 30 VERY soon. :) :)

Tomorrow I go out to find some "Fashion Boots" as the only winter shoes I have are my man-boots...
THEN. I will begin to set out on the adventure of a 30 for 30. This will be all about being a bit fitter, more stylish, more well-rounded. I think. Ha. I am a very indecisive person.

New to blogger..

I already have a blog on Tumblr (cantdoitlikeme.tumblr.com). However through various blog surfing I have decided a blog here would also be wonderful. I have found many blogs that I would love to follow. I truly enjoy reading others thoughts and see what they find to be intriguing.

So here it goes -- I don't know what the content here will be, as I don't want to have two repeats. So...  MORE TO COME :)
